Track. Analyze. Understand. BioVector makes clinical-grade EEG, ECG, EMG, and EOG monitoring accessible and portable for researchers and clinicians worldwide.
Overview
BioVector is a next-generation biosignal acquisition system designed for both clinical environments and everyday use. Developed by Turkish biomedical engineers at STARGE's R&D laboratory, this portable EMG and EEG device combines high-fidelity signal capture with wireless connectivity, bridging the gap between laboratory-grade equipment and consumer accessibility.
BioVector is funded under the TÜBİTAK 1812 programme and built on the biomedical engineering foundation of Hacettepe University.
Key Features
- 4-Channel Monitoring: Simultaneously captures EMG (muscle activity), EEG (brain waves), ECG (heart rhythm) and EOG (eye movements)
- Wireless Architecture: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity for real-time data streaming — no more cable clutter
- Portable Design: Compact, wearable form factor suitable for ambulatory monitoring
- Open Data Format: Export data in standard formats for research compatibility
- Clinical Grade: Laboratory-level signal accuracy in a portable form factor
Applications
BioVector's primary application areas include:
- Clinical Diagnosis: EMG and EEG measurements for neurological and muscular disorder assessment
- Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation: Muscle activity tracking for treatment progress monitoring
- Sports Science: Athletic performance analysis and muscle fatigue measurement
- Academic Research: Biomedical research and human-machine interface studies
- Sleep Research: Sleep stage analysis using EEG and EOG data
